Warranty & After-Sales Policy

This policy applies to furniture, lighting, and interior products purchased through the MyTrentini service by private (non-business) customers.

1. Standard Product Warranty

All products supplied through MyTrentini are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Unless otherwise specified, the standard warranty period is 24 months from the date of delivery.

Some premium brands may provide extended warranties. These will be stated in the product documentation.

2. Proper Use Requirement

Before using the product, customers must carefully read and follow the manufacturer’s care and usage instructions.

Warranty coverage applies only when the product is:

- Used for its intended purpose
- Installed correctly
- Maintained according to manufacturer guidelines

3. Legal Consumer Rights (EU)

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under EU consumer protection law.

If a product has a defect or does not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to:

- Repair
- Replacement
- Price reduction
- Refund (in serious cases)

We will respond to any claim within 30 days from receiving full information about the issue.

4. Minor Defects

If a defect is minor and does not significantly affect the product’s usability, the customer may not request a full contract cancellation or refund.

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To request warranty service, please provide:

- Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
- Photos and description of the issue
- Product details (brand, model, finish, etc.)

Contact us at:
support@mytrentini.com

Products must not be repaired by third parties without written approval, as this may void the warranty.

6. What Is Not Covered by Warranty

The warranty does not apply in cases of:

Damage caused by the customer

- Mechanical damage, scratches, impacts
- Incorrect installation not performed according to instructions
- Use not aligned with intended function

Environmental or external factors

- Water damage or high humidity
- Heat exposure or direct sunlight discoloration
- Electrical surges
- Fire, flooding, or force majeure events

Improper maintenance

- Use of aggressive chemicals or cleaning agents
- Lack of required periodic maintenance (where applicable)

Consumable components

Normal wear items are excluded or have limited coverage:

- Light bulbs
- Batteries
- Upholstery wear
- Finishes subject to natural aging

7. Cleaning & Maintenance Services

Cleaning or adjustment of mechanical parts (hinges, sliding systems, etc.) is considered maintenance, not warranty service.

These services can be arranged upon request for an additional fee.

8. Non-Warranty Repairs

If a defect is not covered by warranty but the customer declines a paid repair, a diagnostic fee may apply.

We may require advance payment before starting non-warranty repair work.

9. Commercial Purchases

This policy applies only to private consumers.

For business or developer purchases, warranty terms may differ and are defined in individual contracts.

10. Changes to This Policy
